In the sermon, we discussed how many people can feel badly about themselves for not demonstrating big, bold displays of faithfulness. Have you ever felt that way? Why do you think that is?
Paul says that God is pleased with a quiet, godly, and dignified life. In the age of social media and what some have called "the age of outrage," what use might God make of such a life? In other words, in your imagination, what can you see God doing with a quiet, godly life in our day and age?
Is there ever a time for godly boldness and for dramatic displays? If so, how might you know when that time is?
We showed how God is at the center of salvation. What are some of the ways that a quiet, dignified, and godly life might demonstrate that?
