Advent Devo - Day 11

Verse: Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb, a reward. (Psalm 127:3)

Meditation: Children are a reward from God and a means of passing on our most treasured qualities, values, and possessions. They point toward eternity, giving us a tangible sense of a future beyond ourselves.

Prayer: Father, thank you for these children. May they inherit the greatest of our qualities and values, and leave behind those things of which we are ashamed. And may we look upon them, not as burdens, but as the treasures that they really are. Amen.
