Dear Kid Kamp Families,

First, we would like to thank you so much for registering for Kid Kamp 2020! Secondly, thank you for your patience as you waited for us to decide how to handle our current health crisis.

One of the reasons we started Kid Kamp was to build community after the scattering in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In the last ten years, we believe we have accomplished just that—a strong community of families built on faith, commitment, and creativity.

It is with that same community in mind that we have decided to not hold Kid Kamp this summer. We have brainstormed and concocted and proposed every possible scenario we could wrap our brains around and it comes to this...there really isn’t a safe or fair way to hold camp this year.

Logistically, all fees collected will be returned. Also if you are a new family with us, since you made  it in the gate this year, you will be able to register with "returning" campers next year.

Our hearts are heavy with the decision. Please know that we will be praying with you all for safety and a speedy end to this illness. Lord willing, we will continue to press on and see you all next summer in 2021!

Until then...

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." -- Romans 8:28

Sincerely,

Patty & Paige
