YOUTH MINISTRY

Our youth team is a committed group of adults dedicated to revealing the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ to teens in a crumbling world. Our aim is to become a safe place for students to air out the questions and concerns of their hearts; and to allow them to grow in their walk with Jesus. We are most definitely gospel-driven, believing that the Word is always relevant, always current. Ultimately, we hope to foster in our youth, a longing for Christ and a need for fellowship with other believers that cannot be shaken even in their college years. We hope to help grow in them the strength and steady faith needed to impact the world around them.

  1. For ALL indoor events we ask that you/your student mask-up.

  2. If you have any symptoms or are sick at all, please don't come to Youth Group.

A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT US...

HERE ARE SOME OF THE USUAL QUESTIONS WE GET:

WHEN AND WHERE WE MEET?

Generally speaking, our Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Unless otherwise stated, Youth Group is held at "Woodland House" which is located directly across the street from the church on Berkley Drive

(5837 Berkley Dr.)

WHAT AGE/GRADE STUDENTS CAN JOIN?

We minister to students in 6th Grade through their Senior Year of high school. As soon as a student completes their 5th Grade year, they are allowed to begin coming to Youth Group the last Sunday of June that summer.

WHAT DOES YOUR TYPICAL YOUTH GROUP MEETING LOOK LIKE?

Sunday evening meetings are made up of four main parts: games, worship, message, and small group.

ARE THE AGE GROUPS SEPARATED?

Yes...and no. For recreational times and worship, the students are all together. During small group times, and whenever we have a retreat, the age groups are separated.

HOW DOES YOUR STUDENT JOIN?

Simply show up! The first time a student comes to Youth Group, we do ask that a parent comes in so that we can get contact info in case of an emergency.

WHO EXACTLY WILL BE WATCHING YOUR STUDENT?

Our Youth Ministry Team is made up of a group of dedicated and consistent  volunteers. All volunteers undergo background checks and have been approved by the church leadership before they can start serving with students.
