CoGro Discussion Qs -- The Risk of Faith 2

  1. Have you ever had someone come through for you in a pinch, someone who lived up to the trust you put in them when it really counted? What about someone who let you down (no need to share identifying details)? How did those experiences shape your ability to trust people?

  2. Have you ever depended on God for something but felt like he didn't come through? Have you ever felt disappointment with God?

  3. We are taught to rely on the promises of God. But sometimes we think that God has promised us something that he hasn't. Has this ever happened to you?

  4. What are the main promises of God? How do they work themselves out in this life?

  5. How does that last question shape your expectations of God? How does that help you trust God?
