Scripture: Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart. (Psalm 51:5-6)


Sin is generated in our hearts from birth. But God’s work penetrates to the heart, teaching us and renewing us at the deepest levels.


Prayer: Father, thanks that you’ve gone deep into our hearts by your Spirit, and you’re still there, at work in my life. Change me from the inside out, Holy Spirit. Re-make me in the image of Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior.
