Scripture: “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.” (John 17:6)

How precious are you in his sight that the Father would give you as a gift to the Son? Because we give the very best gifts, the most expensive gifts to the ones we love the most. And Christ in his joy at receiving us revealed the Father to us and taught us to keep his word and to do his will. You are beloved in Christ.

Prayer: Father, it’s often hard to see how much you love us. Thank you for one more reminder that you find us precious in your sight, that you found us to be of such value that you would offer us as a prize to your Son to be loved and delighted in.
