Evening Prayer: Pakistan



Anti-blasphemy laws are disproportionately applied to Christians, making it nearly impossible to live out the faith. Historic churches are permitted to operate, but close scrutiny makes evangelism and youth work extremely difficult and even dangerous. Churches are often the targets of militant attacks.

PRAYER: Father, we pray that Prime Minister Imran Khan would soften his stance toward your people in the great country of Pakistan. We pray that you would free your people to speak the gospel message of Christ the Lord crucified and raised from the dead. We pray for the weakening of the stronghold of the Islamic culture and for the freedom of violence for your people. (For more prayers, look to Psalm 22.)
