Lenten Devo #11—In the Sight of the Nations

"And I will manifest my holiness among you in the sight of the nations." (Ezekiel 20:41)


At the end of the day, it is God's work to manifest his glory among the nations, to reveal himself for who he is. The revelation of his holiness, his majesty, his grace—these will take place with or without us.


But God calls us to participate in that mission with him. Not just the revelation of his glory, but the redemption of the world through the gospel proclamation and through prayer.


So the question is less will it happen, and more like, "What part will you play in that?"
