Lenten Devotional - Day Thirty- Four

Read: Acts 1:1-3, Luke 24:13-34

Think: How would you have felt if you were one of Jesus’ followers, and He visited you post-resurrection, and you didn’t recognize Him, and then He revealed Himself to you? What do you think Jesus would have said to you? Have you ever studied how the Old Testament points to Jesus’ being the Messiah? Has your heart ever “burned” with excitement as you read the Bible?

Pray: God, help me to see how clear it is that you truly lived, died, and rose again. Help me to love your Word more and read it so I can hear you speaking to me. Thank you for revealing yourself to me.
