Morning Prayer

Scripture: The Lord said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession." (Psalm 2:7-8)

The inheritance of Jesus, the great gift given to him by his Father is all the nations. Over time, Jesus is coming into that inheritance as the gospel goes out to every nation. And because we have been included in that, it is our joy to see Jesus receive new nations into that inheritance.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that the nations would turn to you in faith, that they might see that you are the only Lord, the Son of the living God. Lord, I want to see you receive your inheritance in the nations so that we may rejoice together. Turn my heart today more and more toward your kingdom and your glory. Amen.
